Lacklustre NyLon loses the thread
NYLON, one of the biggest hedge funds launched last year, expects to lose half of its $1.3 billion (£ 750 million) of assets under management after a lacklustre performance, The Times has learnt. Links of London Charms Alan Burnell, founder of NyLon, has admitted that assets under management will slump to $600 million or $700 million as investors take cash from the fund, investors say. This follows the expiry later this month of a one-year lockup period barring them from withdrawing their cash from the fund, which is backed by Barclays Capital. Investors have been disappointed by NyLon's performance, with its flagship macro fund having dropped 3.3 per cent in the 12 months ended February 28. That compares with a rise of 8.8 per cent on average for rival funds also following the macro strategy of big-picture punts on the world economy. Though poor performance means that Mr Burnell and his colleagues have been unable to collect a 20 per cent chunk of profits, they will be charging... (more)

November is ending and the best month of the year is coming :) with many many birthdays, holidays, SUMMER, Christmas, Boxing Day, LOTSA SALES and NYE woooo gotta love december. Will hopefully be having a WHITE Christmas this year like how it's meant to be in the movies and stuff! (: SO..... things/person(s) have been annoying me recently but it's okay because things shall get better soon when december comes >:) and I don't actually care that much, dunno why I get annoyed though. Can't be helped that I've developed such a dislike towards them :p At least I don't try to please the friends of the person I want to get close to. SUCH A TOOL.
